The objective of Project Pandemic Positivity was to address the menstrual issues faced by youth during the pandemic by conducting online sessions and providing access to sanitary pads for individuals in shelter homes and similar locations during the lockdown.
Our campaign focused on organizing online sessions and webinars specifically tailored to address the menstrual challenges faced by young individuals during the pandemic. These sessions covered topics such as menstrual hygiene, self-care during periods, managing menstrual pain, and adapting to changes in routines and access to sanitary products due to lockdown restrictions. We provided a platform for open discussions and Q&A sessions to address their concerns and provide accurate information.
Additionally, our volunteers actively contributed to ensuring access to sanitary pads for individuals residing in shelter homes and other locations impacted by the lockdown. We coordinated with local authorities, organizations, and businesses to gather and distribute sanitary pads to those in need, ensuring that menstrual hygiene requirements were met during these challenging times.
Project Pandemic Positivity had a positive impact on youth facing menstrual challenges during the pandemic. Through our online sessions, we provided valuable information and support, addressing their concerns and helping them navigate through these uncertain times. The sessions promoted knowledge, awareness, and self-care practices related to menstrual health.
Furthermore, our efforts in providing access to sanitary pads for individuals in shelter homes and other affected locations ensured that their basic menstrual hygiene needs were met despite the challenges posed by the lockdown. This helped maintain their dignity, comfort, and overall well-being during a time of restricted resources and access.
By combining online education and practical support, Project Pandemic Positivity aimed to bring about positivity and resilience amidst the pandemic, empowering youth to manage their menstrual health and contribute to their overall well-being.
